I got sucked into drawing a lot on the teapot. But progress has been made, annnnnnd- Cottonbard! Look at him studying, looking for songs forgotten!

Starting a new sketch! I’ve learned that drawing books falling in different ways is a little bit of a challenge. I’m taking some creative liberties here instead. ヽ( ・∀・)ノ

Done! A little Cottonbard taking in the garden and the sea with large clouds building in the distance. I’m thinking when I finish a piece, I’ll throw in Procreate or Clipstudio and give it a digital finish. I’m rusty with Clip and I’m a toddler with Pro so…you know…it will be an experience at least. \(^^)/

Here’s a little update! I’m working on my phone photography skills, ( ´Д`)=3 , but anyway! I’m really happy with how it’s coming along, and I added some green spring washi tape to the edges for a fun border. Something I’ll do with all my pictures. Now, to work on bark swirls! Teehee! 🌻🎃

I am working on my first little drawing in my fresh sketchbook! I’m trying to picture what little Cotton Bunny is looking out at. What time of day is it? Is it the first time he’s hung out here before? Hmmmmm.
I purchased a sketchbook. I wanted a way to still connect and share creatively even when I can’t share what’s cooking in the kitchen.
( ´∀` )b
I also needed a medium that I wouldn’t fret with for hours and get super fixated on trying to make things perfect the way I’m inclined to behave with digital things. Will see if that lasts- hahahaaaaa…
These drawings will become my Cotton Bard series. Telling small stories through small sketches. ❤
